I love to incorporate items attached to my canvases. This piece uses copper pennies that were crushed on a local train track. I had a great time creating this one. I often think of the freedom and spontaneity I felt and want that same feeling when doing other works. When it was “finished” I let it sit for awhile – then turned it upside down and that felt right.
